Protection of Information Act (Section 18)

The Personal Information Act (PoPIA) came into full effect on 1 July. PoPIA aims to promote the protection of your personal information as processed by public and private bodies and seeks to balance the right to privacy against other rights, such as access to information. PoPIA will therefore regulate how South African businesses handle your personal information.

Metal Chip Machinery takes the security of your personal information very seriously. We have an obligation to apply due care in the management of personal information and comply with the legislation as it collects, processes, stores and destroys personal information records. We value your privacy, we will continue to keep your personal information safe and secure.
